At our sites in Romania (Brasov and Sebes) we are looking for an ambitious and committed:
Environmental Responsible
Tasks
* Provide consultancy and practical assistance on environmental issues and develop environmental policies and strategies to meet the business aims of Kronospan;
* Ensure compliance with environmental legal obligations (e.g. permits and authorisations, etc.) and reduce the risk of non-compliance;
* Analyse the environmental legislation and propose amendments for continuous improvement;
* Provide solutions and practical assistance concerning environmental protection (waste management, noise management, water management, landscape management, site biodiversity);
* Manage the recycling of packing materials procedures;
* Provide assistance during controls conducted by the environmental authorities;
* Provide assistance on disputes and litigations in the environmental field;
* Is responsible for environmental reporting and negotiations with authorities and for reporting to community and employees;
* Insures application of new permit application or amendments to existing permits as changes occurs or as regulations required;
* Develop cost effective, quality and timely management information on key environmental impacts.
Qualification
* University degree in Environmental speciality or comparable education;
* At least 3 years professional experience in similar position;
* Excellent knowledge of Romanian and European environmental legislation;
* Fluency in English or German;
* High social competences and reliability;
* Communication skills, business awareness and proactive attitude;
* Experience in dealing with local and national environmental authorities.
